Potential location suitability for geothermal collectors - state method: permanent wilting point (PWP)
Definition:
The potential location suitability of geothermal collectors describes the thermal energy stored in the ground / near the surface, which is obtained via heat exchangers (so-called geothermal collectors) and used by heat pumps for heating purposes (ground geothermal energy). The method used to determine the permanent wilting point is adapted to the Brandenburg site conditions and therefore shows a better prediction quality than the nationwide approach.
